Barcelona's Lionel Messi tops Sky Sports La Liga Power Rankings after Clasico win at Real Madrid

Barcelona's Lionel Messi has entered the new year atop the Sky Sports La Liga Power Rankings.

Luis Suarez (No 3, down two places) broke the deadlock during Barca's 3-0 win over Real Madrid on December 23 before Messi converted a penalty after Dani Carvajal saw red for handling Paulinho's (No 10, down eight places) goalbound header.
