Everton defender Leighton Baines hopes to be given more free-kicks following his excellent effort against Tottenham.
The 25-year-old left-back netted a superb curling effort at White Hart Lane, with David Moyes' men taking a 1-1 draw away from North London.
Mikel Arteta is usually the man to take set-pieces for Everton, but in the Spaniard's absence, Baines proved to be more than up to the task.
Now the England international hopes to have more chances in the future to take free-kicks for his side.
Asked about the current arrangement, Baines told evertontv: "I don't know if there is an understanding as much as he just takes them.
"When we get over it, we discuss it, and Mikky ends up taking his fair share and I take a few as well.
"I wouldn't say either of us are massive specialists, so if one of us says we really fancy it then we leave it to each other. But hopefully I'll be able to take a few more."
He added: "I've not scored a lot of goals but when I have scored they have tended to be memorable ones and that's another one for me really.
"It was very nice for me to see it come down and end up in the back of the net and I'm very pleased with it."
Everton are beginning to make their mark in the Premier League this season after a slow start to the campaign.
Tim Howard was guilty of a blunder to allow Rafael van der Vaart a tap-in and gift Spurs an equaliser on Saturday, and Baines puts it down to miscommunication.
"You're looking for a solid 10 minutes after you've scored, especially away from home, so the timing wasn't ideal," Baines remarked.
"It was a bit of a soft goal to concede as well. I'm not too sure what happened - it might have been a miscommunication."
