The January transfer window has been shut for less than three weeks, but across Europe teams are already contemplating their summer business.

Spain

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is preparing to go big this summer if the club fail to retain the Champions League. Perez's top target is Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, with Real willing to offer as much as £177m for the Belgian. (Don Balon)

If Perez also elects to make a managerial change, Mauricio Pochettino, Jurgen Klopp and Joachim Low make up Real Madrid's shortlist. (AS)

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has identified Valencia youngster Carlos Soler as a summer target. The 21-year-old Spaniard, previously the subject of Manchester United transfer rumours, has impressed in La Liga this term, playing on the right of midfield at the Mestalla, scoring once and registering four assists. Despite constant links with a return to the Premier League, Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale could be destined for Italy. Serie A champions Juventus have made contact with the Wales international, viewing him as the ideal replacement for Argentine striker Paulo Dybala. (Don Balon)

Brazilian playmaker Arthur, a Barcelona transfer target, believes his World Cup hopes will be boosted if he is able to seal a move to the Nou Camp from Gremio in the coming weeks. Although he would not be able to represent the La Liga leaders until next season, the 21-year-old midfielder thinks being associated with Barca's global brand will bring him to the forefront of Brazil boss Tite's mind. Juventus have contacted the agent of out-of-favour Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian with a view to a summer move for the Italy international. The former Torino defender has made just two Premier League starts this season. (Calciomercato)

France

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has moved to quell speculation over an imminent move to Real Madrid. "Real Madrid? It's been a few years since they are interested," the Belgian said. "When it's not Paris it's Real, otherwise it's the opposite. I am good where I am. If I have to change, I'll change, but for the moment I'm here, I'm fulfilled." (Telefoot)

Portugal

Andre Carrillo will make his loan move to Watford permanent at the end of the season, according to Benfica club president Luis Felipe Vieira. The 26-year-old Peru winger has started 15 Premier League games for the Hornets so far this term. (O Jogo)

Turkey

Struggling to make the anticipated impact at Everton, Turkey striker Cenk Tosun has been offered a fall-back option if things don't work out for him at Goodison Park. Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi says the "door is always open" for him to return to the club. (Haberturk)
