Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the European media to serve up Monday’s transfer news and gossip.

Germany

Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal, who's been subject of Chelsea transfer talk, admits he is unsure whether he'll be at his current side come the end of the summer. He is thought to be discussing a new contract, and said: "Whether I stay and extend depends on the people here at the club. We're currently on the right track though." (Sport Bild)

Spain

If Real Madrid want to sign Neymar this summer, it will cost them €400m (£355m). That will mean they'll have to sell a number of players, with Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Isco and Mateo Kovacic likely to leave the Bernabeu to raise funds. (Sport)

Ahead of returning to Barcelona for the first time since his departure in 2014, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas admitted his surprise at leaving the Catalan giants to Marca, saying: "I haven't played a single game there since that day [May 17, 2014]. I didn't realise it would be my last appearance for the club, but the truth is that it was a very sad day all round."

With Antoine Griezmann constantly subject of Barcelona transfer talk, his Atletico Madrid captain Gabi says he's only interested in the Frenchman giving his all while he's still playing his football in the Spanish capital.

"All I've asked of him is that while he is with us, he gives everything, as he is doing," said the midfielder. "Antoine is a special boy to everyone related to this club, he's loved in the dressing room." (Marca)

Italy

Juventus face competition from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for Liverpool midfielder Emre Can. The Italian giants' inability to finalise a deal for the German, despite being able to speak to him due to his contract at Anfield being up at the end of the season, has led the two European heavyweights starting to sniffing around. But the Bianconeri are still favourites to sign the 24-year-old. (Tuttosport)

France

Paris Saint-Germain are looking to replace Thiago Motta in their midfield this summer. Chelsea's N'Golo Kante and Monaco's Fabinho are the two men top of their shortlist to substitute him. (Telefoot)

PSG's president Nasser Al Khelaifi and sporting director Antero Henrique are set to fly out to Brazil to see Neymar. The main aim is to see how he is getting on after his injury that kept him out of the game with Real Madrid, but they also want to make sure he is still keen on staying in the French capital despite interest from elsewhere.
