Plymouth were thankful to a brilliant last-ditch piece of defending from Aaron Taylor-Sinclair to preserve their point against Blackburn

Plymouth dug deep to earn a point against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park, but they were thankful for a brilliant last-ditch piece of defending to preserve their point.

Graham Carey's brilliant opener gave League One's bottom club the lead after 31 minutes but Bradley Dack levelled on the stroke of half-time for Tony Mowbray's men.

Both sides went close to finding the winner in the second period, with Dack denied a second by Yann Songo'o's block.

Rovers thought they had won it in the fourth minute of stoppage time but Ben Gladwin's goalbound shot was somehow kept out by Aaron Taylor-Sinclair as the left-back hooked the ball from underneath the crossbar onto the roof of the net.
