Fulham have completed the signing of Braga forward and captain Rui Fonte, the club have announced.

Fonte has signed a three-year deal at Craven Cottage, with the option of extending it for a further year.

The 27-year old, who spent time as a trainee at Arsenal in 2008-09, scored 12 goals in 28 appearances in the Portuguese league last season after joining the side permanently following a successful loan spell.

He has previously spent time at Crystal Palace in 2009, making 10 Championship appearances, before spending three years in La Liga with Espanyol.

The forward marks Fulham's fourth signing following the arrivals of Ibrahima Cisse, Marcelo Djalo and Aboubakar Kamara.

"I am very happy and very excited to sign for Fulham, this is an amazing challenge. Fulham is a massive club and I'm looking forward to it," Fonte told the club's official website.
