Former Manchester United and West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison is training with Wigan, according to Sky Sources.
He has been invited to train with his former coach Warren Joyce, who was in charge of the United reserve team when Morrison first came to attention.
The 23-year-old moved to Italy just under a year ago but has not made an appearance for Lazio this season and is seeking a return to England.
Morrison was tipped for a bright future in the game when he turned professional at Old Trafford at the age of 17 in February 2010.
But in January 2012 the player was sold by United to West Ham, who were then in the Championship, for an undisclosed fee.
During his three-year stint at Upton Park, Morrison was loaned to Birmingham, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff.
