Hull City have confirmed to Sky Sports News that they have had a £10m bid for Cardiff City striker Kenneth Zohore turned down.

The Tigers are keen to add more firepower to their squad and have made multiple offers for the Denmark U21 international.

Their desire to sign a new striker could have increased after the loss of Abel Hernandez to an Achilles injury in the 3-2 defeat against Wolves on Tuesday night.

Hernandez will see a specialist on Wednesday to determine the severity of the problem.

When previously asked about interest in Zohore, Cardiff manager Neil Warnock said: "If I'm to have any chance next season, he won't be going anywhere.

"You can never say never - if someone came in with £20m you can't say no, I'd even sell Sol Bamba for that who has been just as important."
