Klaus Allofs, Wolfsburg Sporting Director says everything is going to plan with Timm Klose’s move to Norwich

Switzerland defender Timm Klose is in England ahead of an expected move to Premier League club Norwich City.

The central defender left Wolfsburg's training camp on Sunday, according to the club's sporting director Klaus Allofs, to undergo a medical with Norwich.

Klose was a regular in the German side's defence last season, but has been in and out of their starting line-up in 2015-16, after Wolfsburg brought in Dante from Bayern Munich to play alongside Naldo.

Norwich are believed to have agreed a fee of around £7.5m for the 27-year-old, who was born in Germany but has made 12 senior international appearances for Switzerland.

Allofs said: "Everything went according to plan, so we will work together with Norwich. Timm Klose has reached an agreement with them as well.

"The only thing missing right now is the medical. Timm was in shape, when he left us. Therefore it is very likely that everything will go off without a hitch."
