Rangers make bid for Norwich City's Graham Dorrans

Graham Dorrans

Rangers have tested Norwich City's resolve to hold onto Graham Dorrans with a bid of 'just under £1m', according to Sky sources.

Speculation about the 30-year-old's future has increased recently with reports the Scotland international, a boyhood Rangers fan, hopes to move north for family reasons.

Sources say Norwich are unhappy with the proposed structuring of payments, and Rangers are now considering how they might revise their offer.

Dorrans has two years left on his contract at Carrow Road and made 24 appearances for Norwich last season, scoring six goals.

He moved to Norfolk in January 2015 after seven years at West Bromwich Albion having begun his career at Livingston and helped City reach the Premier League via the play-offs.
