Amiens winger Harrison Manzala has arrived in England for talks with Barnsley over a proposed move from France.
The 23-year-old has impressed in Ligue 1 this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists as the club sit 13th in the table.
Manzala, who was born in France but plays for DR Congo U23s, can play anywhere across midfield but is predominantly a right winger.
He began his career Bastia before a spell with Le Havre, and has four caps at international youth level.
Meanwhile, Barnsley have also confirmed they have had a bid rejected for Oxford 'keeper Simon Eastwood.
