Swansea have signed Falkirk midfielder Ryan Blair for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
The 19-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Barclays Premier League club and will link up with Swansea's U21 squad.
Glasgow-born Blair made 10 appearances for the Ladbrokes Scottish Championship side after breaking through last season and joins former Bairns Botti Biabi, Stephen Kingsley and Jay Fulton at the Liberty Stadium.
Blair, who underwent a medical in Wales on Tuesday afternoon, is the first signing by new coach Francesco Guidolin since his appointment last week.
"It feels great. I never thought I would get the opportunity to join a Premier League club," Blair told the official Swansea website.
"I want to kick on now and get myself some game time between now and the end of the season. I played with Stephen, Jay and Botti at Falkirk. The three being here will help me settle quicker."
Falkirk boss Peter Houston, whose side lie third in the Scottish Championship table, is delighted another product of his academy has earned a move.
"I have always said that we, as a club, would never deny a player the chance to go and further his career," said former Dundee United manager Houston.
"Ryan has a lot of potential and will get the opportunity to continue his development at top class facilities. It's testament to the way we bring young players through that Ryan joins several others in getting a move and we wish him well."
