Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has backed Paul Hartley to bounce back and find a new job in football soon following his sacking by Dundee.
Former Hoops player Hartley left Dens Park after a run of seven consecutive Scottish Premiership defeats saw them drop down the table.
But Rodgers believes the 40-year-old, who spent two-and-a-half years at Celtic Park as a player after joining from Hearts in January 2007, still has a lot to offer potential employers after Hartley joined him at their Lennoxtown training ground on Wednesday.
"I've got Paul Hartley here and having a real good chat with him about his experience," he said.
"He will dust himself off and go on and get another job and do a great job because I think he did a great job at Dundee with everything that was thrown at him.
"He is a good guy. I thought he did a fantastic job at Dundee, I thought he was very unfortunate to lose his job.
"I know his work rate and ethic and so I am always disappointed for good guys like that.
"My door is always open to people like that. I try to make them feel we are all a big family, us managers and coaches."
