Spain

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale remains a Manchester United target. The Wales international has struggled with injuries in recent years and a move back to the Premier League next summer could be on the cards, with United likely to beat Tottenham Hotspur to his signature. (Diario Gol)

Out of favour at Barcelona, Aleix Vidal could be on the move in January, with Valencia keen on signing him. Valencia are determined to add to their right-back options and have already made contact with the player over a move. (Superdeporte)

Sevilla are set to sign Brazilian full-back Guilherme Arana for a fee of between €12-15m (£10.4m-£13m). The 20-year-old, who plays for Corinthians, represents his country at youth level and was in the Brazilian top division's team of the season. (Football Espana)

Italy

Roma head coach Eusebio Di Francesco has emerged as a Chelsea target, though other Premier League sides including Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham are also interested in his services. In order to prevent him from leaving, the Italian side could offer him a new contract. (Corriere dello Sport)

Henrikh Mkhitaryan could join Inter in January after dropping out of the Manchester United starting line-up in recent weeks. The Armenia international has been replaced by Jesse Lingard after a series of below-par performances, but a move to Italy could be what is needed to revive his career. (Corriere dello Sport)

Inter have also joined the race for Liverpool's Emre Can. The German, whose contract expires next summer, has been linked to Juventus, but the Nerazzurri could look to pip their title rivals to his signature as they think he'd be ideal for their 4-3-3 formation. (Tuttosport)

Juventus are on the hunt for defensive reinforcements and Arsenal centre-back Shkodran Mustafi is on their shortlist. The Italian champions sold Leonardo Bonucci to Milan in the summer, while Benedikt Howedes has suffered persistent injury problems. Mustafi's arrival would add much-needed options to their defence. Another player Juve are monitoring is Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa. The youngster has been superb this season and could make a big move in future, though the Bianconeri will face competition from Napoli and Inter for the player. (Tuttosport)

Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United target Jonathan Bamba is set for talks over a new contract with Saint-Etienne. The striker's current deal runs out in the summer, but will meet to discuss an extension next Tuesday. (L'Equipe)
