Real Madrid will pay Alvaro Morata's buy-out clause to re-sign him from Juventus this summer, Sky sources understand.
The agreement is set to trigger the market for strikers in the next transfer window but it is not known yet whether Real's intention is to sell the Spain international on again for profit.
Morata, who was a graduate of Real's youth academy, joined Juve for £16m in 2014 and has scored 25 goals for the current Serie A champions. It will cost Real £24m to bring him back to the Bernabeu.
Spanish newspaper AS have reported Real Madrid are also in talks to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund as they look to revamp a squad that is 10 points behind La Liga-leaders Barcelona, and Morata could be part of the deal.
Morata recently admitted his return was a "real possibility" and that his future was out of his hands, while Juve director general Giuseppe Marotta said: "Real Madrid have the 'sword of Damocles' hanging over our heads."
If Real's intention is indeed to sell on, interest in Morata is expected to be high, as both Arsenal and Tottenham tried to sign him when he joined Juve two years ago.
As Dortmund and Juventus could both lose their first-choice strikers to Real, Sky sources understand the two clubs are currently competing with others to sign Belgium international striker Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
Juve had an offer of £28m rejected for Batshuayi in January while Dortmund are understood to be preparing an offer of their own, but they will need to bid upwards of £32m to land the player.
Batshuayi is also of interest to Arsenal and Tottenham, however, as well as West Ham, and the player will choose the club that can offer him the best chance at immediate first-team football.
Sky sources understand that West Ham have been in contact with Marseille in order to steal a march on their rivals but they are also keen to try and attract Zlatan Ibrahmovic, Christian Benteke or Alexandre Lacazette.
