The January transfer window may only just have closed but Europe's biggest clubs are already plotting their summer moves with a World Cup to negotiate around.

Spain
Andre Gomes says his time at Barcelona has been a nightmare, with Tottenham said to be in the running for his signature. The former Valencia midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp for more than a year and has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Philippe Coutinho. "Maybe it's not the best word, but for me Barcelona is a bit like hell," Gomes said. (AS)
Barcelona have turned down the opportunity to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti. The midfielder had been eyeing up a move to Spain after becoming frustrated with how things are going in Paris. The La Liga leaders were interested in the Italian last summer but negotiations hit a wall and PSG ended up signing Neymar, ending any chance of a deal being struck. (Marca)
Split goalkeeper Karlo Letica, who has previously interested Real Madrid, has revealed he was shocked to hear Zinedine Zidane's men had been scouting him. However, Letica's agent, Sinisa Soso, has pushed back any talk of his client leaving the Croatian side with the suggestion that links with other clubs are nothing to worry about. (AS)
Sevilla manager Vincenzo Montella has praised match-winner Wissam Ben Yedder after his two-goal display at Old Trafford which knocked Manchester United out of the Champions League. Germany
The powers that be at Bayern Munich can't settle on a manager to replace Jupp Heynckes. Former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel is the favourite to take over at the Allianz Arena but the decision will ultimately fall on the shoulders of Uli Hoeness and he isn't overly keen on the 44-year-old. Hoeness remains hopeful of attracting Jurgen Klopp to Bavaria instead. (Kicker)
Arturo Vidal's future at Bayern Munich is up in the air with Leon Goretzka set to arrive in the summer and rumours suggest Juventus target Emre Can is on their summer wishlist. The Chilean, however, hasn't ruled out staying with the Bundesliga champions: "Whether I stay or extend depends on the people here in the club. We're on the right track," said Vidal. (SportBild)

Juventus have made Marco Verratti their top summer target. The Serie A champions have been keeping tabs on the 25-year-old for several seasons but will make a move now that the tide has turned in Paris. The midfielder has faced criticism over recent weeks and there is a belief he is not pulling his weight. Verratti's agent, Mino Raiola, is looking at possible escape routes and Juventus feel they can put together a package to tempt him to Turin.(Calciomercato)
Inter Milan are trying to land Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman. Luciano Spalletti wants to bring in midfield reinforcements having failed to properly do so during the winter window and the Netherlands midfielder is on their list of summer targets. The 28-year-old has a €45m release clause but Inter don't intend to pay that and want to negotiate with their Serie A rivals. (Calciomercato)
AC Milan are set to pay three goalkeepers more than €10m in wages next season if they manage to keep hold on Gianluigi Donnarumma. The goalkeeper, who has been on Chelsea's radar in recent months, pockets €6m per season and the club already pay his brother, who is also the backup goalkeeper, close to €1m. Pepe Reina looks set to swap Naples for Milan in the summer and will earn in excess of €3m. Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to sanction a €70m deal to bring Donnarumma to Ligue 1. His agent, Raiola, thought a fee in the region of €40m would have been enough but the Serie A club believe they can fetch a world-record fee for a goalkeeper. (L'Equipe)
Sevilla striker Ben Yedder has revealed his cameo appearance against Manchester United, which saw him score two goals, was like a dream come true: "I'm happy, very, very happy. It's a beautiful evening," he said. "We know it's not easy against Manchester United, especially at Old Trafford. I do not know how to describe my emotion.
