Italy

The long-running saga surrounding the future of Juventus transfer target Emre Can finally looks to be at an end. The Liverpool midfielder has agreed a four-year deal with the Bianconeri and will undergo a medical in the coming days before completing a free transfer. (Calciomercato)

Germany

A decision will be made on Monday whether reigning world champions Germany take 'keeper and captain Manuel Neuer to this summer's World Cup. The Bayern Munich stopper has missed almost all of the season through injury. "Everything is going according to plan on Manuel, he has done all training sessions, he has no problems," head coach Joachim Low said. "I'll talk to him again tonight. If everything is alright, he will be in goal tomorrow from the start." (SportBild)

Borussia Dortmund look to be preparing for a frugal summer recruitment drive. Marius Wolff and Marwin Hitz have already joined from Frankfurt and Augsburg respectively at a combined cost of just €5m. And sporting director Michael Zorc is says BVB will not pay over the odds this summer. He said: "Fantasy prices and inflated price expectations are called up, which are primarily associated with us." Lyon captain Nabil Fekir has emerged as a Bayern Munich transfer target. The attacking midfielder was on Liverpool's wanted list this summer but is now subject of interest from the Bavarian giants too. (L'Equipe)
