Bruno Alves is set for a move to Parma

Rangers defender Bruno Alves is undergoing a medical at Parma ahead of a move to the Serie A side, according to Sky in Italy.

Alves, who was part of Portugal's World Cup squad that was knocked out in the last 16 by Uruguay on Saturday, arrived at Ibrox last summer.

The 36-year-old joined Rangers from Cagliari but only made 25 appearances as he struggled with injuries throughout the season.
