With the January transfer window heading into its final hours, teams across Europe are trying to secure the players they need for the rest of the season.

Germany

The imminent arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal has impressed Mesut Ozil so much he is set to extend his contract at the Emirates. (Bild)

Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic is seen by Bayern Munich as the long-term successor to Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. The 19-year-old American is also a Manchester United and Liverpool transfer target. (Sport Bild)

RB Leipzig have identified AC Milan's Hakan Calhanoglu as a replacement for Liverpool-bound Naby Keita. (Sport Bild)

Italy

Daley Blind is a Roma transfer target. The Giallorossi want a left-back after selling Emerson Palmieri to Chelsea and have identified the Manchester United man as the player to replace him. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Napoli are closing in on a deal for Everton's Davy Klaassen and are confident of getting the deal completed by the end of the day. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Spain

Newcastle midfielder Mikel Merino is an Athletic Bilbao transfer target. The Basque club have tried to sign him twice before and will go all out to get him on Deadline Day. Rafa Benitez will try and block any transfer, though. (AS)

Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal is a Napoli transfer target. The La Liga side are not willing to sell him for less than his €50m (£43.8m) release fee though. (Cadena Cope)

France

Olivier Giroud will move to Chelsea on Deadline Day in the hope that it will help in get into France's World Cup squad this summer. (L'Equipe)

Enzo Crivelli's move to Caen from Bordeaux has been disrupted because of interest from elsewhere. Wolves, Aston Villa and Cardiff are thought to be sniffing around the 22-year-old striker. (L'Equipe)
