Thierry Henry believes England's defence could be their weak link going into Euro 2016

Sky Sports pundit Thierry Henry has identified England's weak link ahead of their opening Euro 2016 game against Russia.

The former France international says England's defence has not been as strong as they have been in the past - but that it could help their performance at the competition.

"Maybe at the back they are not as strong as they used to be," Henry told Sky Sports.

"If I go back I remember the likes of Tony Adams, Gary Neville, Sol Campbell, John Terry and Rio Ferdinand. They were pretty strong at the back.

"People are not expecting them to win the tournament. This is one of the first times I'm over here and I don't hear, 'We are going to win it'. That might be a good thing at the end of the day."

England also face Wales on June 17 in Lens and Slovakia on June 20 in Saint-Etienne during the Euro 2016 group stages.
