In the build-up to Euro 2016, we'll be counting down the top 100 players to watch at the tournament.
WhoScored.com use a range of statistical criteria to give each player a rating out of 10 for their performances for their clubs throughout the season. We've used the average mark of players to have made over 20 league appearances for their clubs in 2015/16 to rank the top 100 at Euro 2016.
Kicking off with 100-81, our first group of players features Chelsea and Belgium's Eden Hazard and his club team-mate, Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas...
100 Wayne Rooney, England (WhoScored.com average rating: 7.07)
Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney struggled for goals as a striker for his club this season but a late switch to midfield prompted a promising run of form towards the end of the campaign. Rooney will hope to take that form into the Euros - although his exact position in Roy Hodgson's line-up is still unclear.
99 Juanfran, Spain (7.07)
Atletico Madrid right-back Juanfran has enjoyed another impressive season for Diego Simeone's side, helping the capital club mount a La Liga title bid and reach the final of the Champions League. Averaging just over two tackles per game and a similar number of interceptions, the 31-year-old will be a dependable member of Spain's squad.
98 Patrice Evra, France (7.07)
Experienced left-back Patrice Evra remains part of the France setup having featured 26 times in Juventus's title-winning season in Serie A. A five-time Premier League winner with Manchester United, Evra is the most capped outfield player in his country's squad for Euro 2016 and his experience is expected to be invaluable.
97 Olivier Giroud, France (7.07)
France forward Olivier Giroud has been struggling to win over the country's supporters but continues to score goals for Didier Deschamps' side, netting in recent warm-up wins over Cameroon and Scotland. The 29-year-old comes into his home tournament having found form with a hat-trick for Arsenal on the final day of the Premier League season to take his goal tally to 16.
96 Adam Lallana, England (7.08)
Tricky Liverpool forward Adam Lallana came up with six assists and four goals in the Premier League this season and will hope to carry his strong run of form towards the end of the campaign into Euro 2016, where he'll be vying for a starting spot in Roy Hodgson's side. Lallana's versatility means he can play across the forward line.
95 Ismail Koybasi, Turkey (7.08)
Turkey international Ismail Koybasi's impressive defensive displays for Besiktas are thought to have turned Jurgen Klopp's head. The left-back played a key role as his side battled with Fenerbahce for the Super Lig title, ending a seven-year title drought. The 26-year-old is out of contract in the summer and could be tempted by a move to the Premier League.
94 Lukas Podolski, Germany (7.08)
Having turned 31 at the start of June, Lukas Podolski is the third most capped player in the history of German football. The striker has featured in 127 senior internationals, scoring 48 goals to place him third in the all-time list of German scorers. Podolski is set for his seventh major tournament, having reached the semi-finals or better on five occasions.
93 Giorgio Chiellini, Italy (7.08)
Although Juventus centre-back Giorgio Chiellini endured constant injury spells throughout the 2015/16 season, the Italy international scored in the last match of the season as his side celebrated winning the Serie A title in what was Chiellini's 400th appearance for Juve.
92 Juraj Kucka, Slovakia (7.10)
Slovakia midfielder Juraj Kucka moved to Milan in 2015 and has netted just once for the Serie A side, scoring the equalising goal in a 1-1 draw against Roma. He has made 46 senior international appearances, scoring five goals.
91 Theodor Gebre Selassie, Czech Republic (7.10)
Theodor Gebre Selassie has made the right-back slot his own at Werder Bremen and the 23-year-old, who averaged 2.4 tackles, 2.9 interceptions and 2.9 clearances per game in the German top-flight this term, will be aiming for an impressive Euros with Czech Republic.
90 Leroy Sane, Germany (7.10)
Schalke youngster Leroy Sane enjoyed a productive season in the Bundesliga, scoring eight goals and registering six assists. He ranked second in those categories for players under 21 in the German top flight, and could be a breakout star at Euro 2016.
89 Tomas Hubocan, Slovakia (7.10)
If England are to defeat Slovakia at Euro 2016, they'll need to find a way past Dynamo Moscow centre-back Tomas Hubocan. A two-time league winner in Russia with Zenit, Hubocan was unable to prevent Dynamo's relegation this term but impressed regardless, averaging 3.5 interceptions and 4.7 clearances per game.
88 Ricardo Rodriguez, Switzerland (7.10)
Switzerland international Ricardo Rodriguez is one of the best ball-playing left-backs in the Bundesliga. He ranks first for accurate long balls (116) and second for accurate crosses (34) in the division. At 23 years old, Rodriguez could be one youngster to keep an eye on in France.
87 Eden Hazard, Belgium (7.11)
The Premier League's 2014/15 Player of the Year had a woeful campaign for Chelsea but at least showed glimpses of his best towards the end of the season, including stunning goals against Tottenham and Liverpool. Belgium boss Marc Wilmots will hope to see his attacking midfielder back on song in France.
86 Bacary Sagna, France (7.12)
Of right-backs to play at least as many Premier League matches as Bacary Sagna (26), the France full-back ranks in the top 10 for tackles, interceptions and clearances per game and only two players made more key passes.
85 Leonardo Bonucci, Italy (7.12)
After winning a fifth Serie A title in a row with Juventus, Leonardo Bonucci returns to the Italy camp with a key role to play for Antonio Conte's side. The Azzurri won just two of their 10 qualifiers by more than one goal, so defensive solidity will be key in France.
84 Milan Badelj, Croatia (7.13)
Croatia midfielder Milan Badelj is a pass master - he completed 87 per cent of his passes in the Serie A this season - and the Fiorentina 27-year-old will link up with Real Madrid's Luka Modric at the heart of his country's line-up.
83 Cesc Fabregas, Spain (7.14)
Cesc Fabregas struggled to hit top form through much of 2015 but since the turn of the year, the Chelsea midfielder has edged back to his best, netting four goals and five assists since January 1. The Spaniard also finished the 2015/16 Premier League season having completed more accurate short passes than any other player (2,191).
82 Lucas Digne, France (7.14)
PSG defender Lucas Digne spent the 2015/16 season on loan with Roma, where he helped the Italian side to a second-place finish in Serie A. The 22-year-old ranked in the top five for tackles and interceptions for left-backs in the Italian top flight.
81 Julian Baumgartlinger, Austria (7.14)
After five years with Mainz, Julian Baumgartlinger has joined Bayer Leverkusen this summer. The 28-year-old defensive midfielder enjoyed another impressive season in the Bundesliga, making more tackles (115) than any other player in the division.
