Scunthorpe have no fresh injury worries ahead of the visit of Walsall.
However, interim manager Nick Daws has confirmed forward Luke Williams is unlikely to play again this season due to a hamstring problem.
Williams has not played since March and even though he has had an injection to speed up his recovery process, time is running out for this campaign. Jonathon Margetts (knee) remains sidelined too.
Walsall expect to have Jack Fitzwater available. The on-loan West Brom defender was withdrawn in the second half of last weekend's loss to AFC Wimbledon due to a hamstring injury, but that was more precautionary.
Midfielder Joe Edwards (knee) will not play again this term. The Saddlers will begin the weekend two places and two points above the relegation zone.
The Iron have won just one of their last eight home league games against Walsall (D3 L4), failing to score in each of the last two.
Walsall have lost only once in their last five League One meetings with Scunthorpe (W2 D2), keeping four clean sheets, although that one loss was a 4-1 thumping in September 2016.
Scunthorpe are currently winless in seven home league games (D3 L4) - their longest run without a league win on home soil since January 2013 (run of nine games).
Walsall on the other hand have only managed one win from their last 11 away league games (D4 L6), having won three of their previous five (D1 L1).
