League One promotion contenders Shrewsbury are without defender James Bolton for Saturday's derby clash with Walsall.
The 23-year-old is still troubled by the ankle injury that forced him to miss Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy semi-final win over Yeovil but hopes to return next week. The postponement of last weekend's clash with Peterborough has allowed defender Max Lowe time to overcome a slight hamstring problem.
Lowe was an unused substitute as the Shrews booked a place at Wembley with a 1-0 victory in midweek.
Walsall boss Jon Whitney, who was heckled by fans after his side's midweek loss to Rochdale, could changes for the trip to Montgomery Waters Meadow. Whitney suggested the team needed to "freshen up" after the 3-0 defeat by struggling Dale.
On-loan defender Jack Fitzwater could come back into the starting line-up after recovering from a back injury but remaining as an unused substitute on Tuesday. Midfielder Joe Edwards is out for the rest of the season after suffering anterior cruciate ligament damage.
The Shrews have won two of their last 22 matches against Walsall in all competitions (D6 L14).
Walsall are unbeaten in their last eight league games against Shrewsbury (W6 D2).
After winning 10 of their first 12 home league matches this season (D1 L1), Shrewsbury have failed to win any of their last four (D2 L2).
The Saddlers have won just one of their last nine league games on the road in League One (D3 L5), but did win their most recent outing on the road at Southend (3-0).
Shrews midfielder Shaun Whalley has assisted five goals since the turn of the year in League One, more than any other player in the competition.
