Manchester United close to rectifying goals shortage says Bastian Schweinsteiger

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger insists the team are close to rectifying their goals shortage.
United, who are fourth in the Premier League table, have scored just six goals in their last nine matches in all competitions, which have included five goalless draws.
Former United players such as Paul Scholes have labelled the side "boring" in recent weeks but Schweinsteiger insists no-one would be talking about this if they had converted just a few more chances.
"When we enter the pitch, we go there and we want to win the match, and to score goals," Schweinsteiger said.
"If you see our matches, we always create good chances to score and of course, it's a mix of everything; sometimes it's the build-up pass, sometimes the final pass, and sometimes you need a little bit of luck.
"We are close to being in a very good position in the Premier League and if we finished our chances in games, maybe we would be top of the Premier League.
"We would have five or six more points, and no-one would ask about this. It's a small thing and we will try and change that."
Schweinsteiger is facing a three-match domestic ban after being retrospectively charged with violent conduct for an apparent elbow on West Ham's Winston Reid at the weekend.
But the German is set to feature against Wolfsburg in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
