Fitzgerald set for Swans

Swansea are set to sign Watford striker Scott Fitzgerald on loan. The Welsh side have problems in attack with a number of players carrying injuries and Swans boss Kenny Jackett is keen to bolster his options.
Fitzgerald has struggled to break into Watford's side this season despite finishing as top scorer last term and Jackett believes he will be a good addition to his side if he can get him on loan.
"We hope to bring in Scott Fitzgerald on loan from Watford and hopefully he will sign tomorrow (Tuesday) and would be available to play against Luton," said Jackett.
"He scored quite a number of goals for Watford last season, but due to the form of Danny Webber and Heidar Helguson he hasn't been in the side yet this year.
"I think he'll be a very good addition and, while we have a bit of a striker crisis with injuries, I'm sure he'll help us out and do very well.
"At the moment it's just a loan, just somebody who can help us out.
"But I think he's a good player and you can never have enough good players - so you never know what could happen in the future."
