Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman has added Paul Williams to his coaching staff.
Williams, who most recently worked with the Reds' Sky Bet Championship rivals Brentford, arrives at the City Ground as first-team assistant coach.
The 44-year-old has previously coached at Southampton and Wolves as well as being involved earlier this year with the England U15 and U16 teams.
Williams began his playing career with Forest's east midlands rivals Derby and made more than 150 league appearances for the Rams before going on to play in the Premier League with Coventry and Southampton.
Following Jamie Fullarton's departure, Jimmy Gilligan has resumed control of Forest's Under-21 side.
