Alim Ozturk will be available for the second leg of Sunderland's play-off semi-final against Portsmouth after his red card from Saturday's game was rescinded.
The Turkish defender was sent off by referee Andy Woolmer on 67 minutes, after appearing to bring down Portsmouth's Gareth Evans on the edge of the area in the first leg.
But an independent regulatory commission has upheld Sunderland's appeal of wrongful dismissal and Ozturk's suspension has been withdrawn by the FA.
The 26-year-old will be available for Thursday's game at Fratton Park, live on Sky Sports Football.
Despite going down to 10 men, the Black Cats managed to win the first leg 1-0 at the Stadium of Light, Chris Maguire scoring the game's only goal on 62 minutes.
The winners of Saturday's tie will go on to face either Charlton or Doncaster at Wembley on May 26 for a place in the Championship.
