Southend take Piotr Malarczyk on loan from Ipswich

Southend have announced the loan signing of Piotr Malarczyk from Ipswich.
The 24-year-old Polish defender will remain with the Sky Bet League One side until the end of the season.
Phil Brown told his club's website: "If you want a defender with the right mentality, the right attitude, you won't go far wrong from Piotr.
"He brings that steely mentality to the side. He's a strong character who's vocal and has got a presence."
Malarczyk has made six appearances for Ipswich since signing in August but has not featured since being sent off against Portsmouth in January's FA Cup defeat.
