Prandelli understands Nakata`s plight
Nakata has recently stated his discontent at being forced to play in a right-sided midfield role, rather than his preferred position as a playmaker.
The Japanese superstar claims he would favour being on the substitutes' bench than continually being deployed out of position.
But while Prandelli praised Nakata's professionalism despite his unhappiness, the Parma coach stressed the team would always come before the individual.
"Firstly, I have to say that I have found a big and serious professional and we have reached a compromise with tranquility," said Prandelli.
"He has been noted as one of Parma's players who have produced big performances and this underlines his real help to the team.
"I understand his difficulties and I appreciate his sincerity.
"It has to be underlined that the team, the jersey, is put before everything and I have to still think of the whole group to reach our aims."
