Reds striker described as 'unique' by Spain team-mate

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has been hailed as 'magic' and 'unique' by Spain team-mate David Villa. Torres and Valencia forward Villa are expected to be in tandem when the European champions tackle France in Paris in Wednesday night's glamour friendly. Villa, who has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool and a number of their Premier League rivals, feels the Anfield favourite is one of the world's best. The Reds are highly unlikely to be splashing out the £35million it would take to unite the duo on Merseyside, and will have to settle for seeing them in action for their country. Villa told Spanish newspaper AS: "A striker with so much quality, such magic and so much experience, despite not having a good year, he is always dangerous and never do you want to face him. "The power he has in the last few metres - in other things he is very good, but this is unique. "The start, the power, I've never seen another player with that much power in the last few yards and perhaps that is what we as other strikers want."
