Hamilton captain Alex Neil has signed a two-year extension to his contract with the SPL club.
Neil has been with the club since the summer of 2005 from Mansfield and has proved to be an inspirational figure in the Accies' midfield.
The former Barnsley player was a driving force behind the club's promotion to the Scottish Premier League last season and has already racked up over 100 appearances for the club.
Hamilton chairman Ronnie MacDonald understands the importance of securing Neil's services for the next two years.
He told the club's
official website: "Alex is at the heart of what we're trying to do at the club and he's a massive player for us.
"We are thrilled to have secured his serves for a further two years."
