Tigers need a hand up from the Champions

Hull FanZoner Lee Sargeson is making no secret of the fact that he wants a favour from Sir Alex on Sunday

Well, just 90 minutes to go, and a place in the Premier League is ours to lose, now its back in our hands, we only have the small matter of beating the Champions, the mighty Manchester United. A lot is being said about which team Sir Alex (a fantastic bloke and decent man!) Ferguson will bring to the KC Stadium on Sunday. Some people are nervous that he will bring a team that is just out of nappies, but I think Sir Alex (don't forget you have the biggest game of the season in three days) Ferguson will bring a team that will want to show the manager that they are good enough to play at this level. The other teams should concentrate on supporting their own teams on Sunday and not be too concerned about us, well not until 5.45pm when they need a result.
Begging
Sir Alex (never one to complain about refs or time keeping!) Ferguson will want to keep his strongest squad for the Champions League Final, and I don't blame him, any team would. Think about it, the league has been won and there is nothing to play for so come on Sir Alex (you're the best) Ferguson, give us the three points on offer and send down one of the so called big sides down. You know deep down you want too, especially after what King Kev said to you a few years ago. I have a few Man Utd friends who have given me a lot of stick over the season and I would 'Love It if we beat them'. So come on do us a favour, in fact do the Premier League a favour and let us win! We have been a breath of fresh air to this league and are a lot of people's second favourite team this year. Plus on a personal note Sir Alex (are you sure you are in your 60s, you only look 50) Ferguson, I am really enjoying the FanZone booth and want to come back next year, especially as times are hard at the moment for a carpenter at the moment. Expect a full house on Sunday, 25,000 fans hoping the right result happens on the pitch, and Hull City stay in the Premier League and I think I have blown Sir Alex's trumpet enough to get us something from the game.
Maths
But on a more serious note, the permutations on Sunday are mind boggling. We win and we stay up, that's the simple sum. But anything other than a win and it gets very complicated. It's 2 out of 4 and that's what the last game of the season is all about, the drama, the excitement, the tears of joy or the tears of disappointment! For the neutral it will be compulsive viewing and for the die hard supporters of the four teams it will be painful and exciting at the same time. All will be revealed at 6pm on Sunday, I just hope Hull City will be one of the two that stay up. Phil Brown has got to get his team selections spot on and not go with a team that just wants to play boring football. The team needs to go for it from the start and hassle Man Utd. We can't give them any time on the ball and we should pepper there goal with shots from all angles and hope the keeper makes a mistake or a defender scores an own goal. All I know is that, destiny is in our own hands and let's hope that that's all we need. I have read in the local paper that the City team will be on a bonus of £70,000 a man to stay up. If that's not enough incentive enough to run your backsides into the ground then I don't know what is! So...COME ON CITY!
