Substitute Billy Kee ended Accrington's nine-game winless run with the only goal to leave Barnet still fighting for their League Two lives. The striker had only been on the pitch six minutes when he got on the end of Michael Symes' right-wing cross and tapped home from six yards after 70 minutes. The Reds deserved the win as they created the better chances with the Bees still needing three points to guarantee safety. Barnet goalkeeper Jake Cole kept his side in it, finger-tipping over a Bobby Grant effort and denying Reds defender Johnny Flynn. Veteran centre-half Gary Breen also cleared a Sean McConville effort off the goalline while Symes hit the post in the final minute. Barnet mustered little up front as Accrington held on comfortably.
