Highlights of the Sky Bet League Two match between Accrington and Wycombe.

Mark Hughes scored the winner as Accrington secured a 1-0 win over fellow League Two promotion contenders Wycombe.

Third-placed Stanley created the better chances as Wycombe dropped out of the play-off places with the defeat.

The visitors started well with Saturday's hat-trick hero Craig Mackail-Smith clean through but he was denied by Stanley keeper Aaron Chapman in the fourth minute.

There were goalmouth scrambles at both ends but clear-cut chances were limited in the opening 25 minutes.

Stanley began to carve out the better opportunities with Kayden Jackson denied by keeper Scott Brown, a Sean McConville free-kick was not far off the top of the net while a Mallik Wilks diving header was kept out by the feet of the stopper.

Wycombe came out battling after the break but Stanley continued to carve out the better chances with a McConville 20-yard strike inches wide while Brown pushed away the winger's fierce strike.

Stanley finally got the goal after 70 minutes when McConville's ball in caused chaos in the Wycombe area and it was defender Hughes who kept his composure to fire home.
