Luke Jephcott's brace fired Swindon to a 5-1 comeback win over AFC Wimbledon at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Wimbledon went ahead through Aaron Pierre, who was sent off in stoppage time, but Swindon roared back, first through a Jephcott penalty before Jacob Wakeling made it 2-1.

Jephcott soon capitalised on Nik Tzanev's error, while Tom Clayton and Ronan Darcy completed the rout after half-time.

Wimbledon's early lead came from Ethan Chislett's whipped short corner, with Pierre rising highest to find the net.

Eight minutes later the visitors drew level courtesy of Jephcott's coolly slotted penalty after Marcel Lavinier was felled in the box.

Wakeling headed Swindon in front almost immediately, powering Remeao Hutton's pinpoint cross past Tzanev.

The Dons keeper then gifted Swindon a two-goal cushion, as his errant pass found Jephcott who slammed home his second of the afternoon.

The result was sealed when Clayton's header looped into the top corner and Darcy struck a penalty in stoppage time following Pierre's sending-off for handling a certain goal.
