Scott Davies scored two second-half penalties as Aldershot rescued a 2-2 draw against Grimsby and preserved their 11-month unbeaten league record at The Recreation Ground. First-half strikes from JP Kalala and Nick Hegarty put Grimsby on top but Davies halved the deficit just after the break. And he completed the fightback with 17 minutes remaining to rescue the Shots, whose last league defeat at home came in January against Forest Green. And substitute John Grant almost won it for Gary Waddock's side late on but his header was saved by Phil Barnes as Grimsby held on for a point.
