Wycombe's unbeaten start to the league season came to an end as they lost 3-2 to Aldershot.

Hudson nets controversial goal in Aldershot win

Kirk Hudson's controversial opener set Aldershot on their way to ending Wycombe's unbeaten start to the league season after a 3-2 win. The 21-year-old latched on to Anthony Straker's pull-back to put Gary Waddock's men ahead but referee Keith Woolmer appeared to rule the goal out before reversing his decision. Hudson then smashed in from 15 yards after collecting Ben Harding's pass to double the hosts advantage. Wycombe's on-loan QPR forward Angelo Balanta pulled one back with a thumping left-foot strike in the 75th minute before Daniel Hylton restored the two-goal advantage with three minutes remaining with a low drive from the edge of the area. There was still time for Matty Phillips to hammer in a 25-yard strike for Wycombe in stoppage time but Peter Taylor's side lost their 18-game unbeaten record.
