    Athletic Bilbao moved up to sixth spot in La Liga with a 3-0 win over Hercules at San Mames on Monday night. Goals from Javi Martinez, Fernando Llorente and Iker Muniain were enough to give Bilbao all three points to boost their hopes of claiming a European spot for next season. Bilbao got off to a flying start with Martinez heading home into the top corner after just five minutes. The home side doubled their lead just past the hour mark when star striker Llorente headed home after a flowing move. Bilbao made the game safe on 64 minutes when Muniain capitalised on a defensive mistake to find the net.
