Darren Dennehy's early dismissal condemned Barnet to their fourth straight league defeat as relegation rivals Bradford won 4-0.
The Bantams took full advantage of the extra man with goals from Craig Fagan, Will Atkinson, Kyel Reid and Nahki Wells to extend their unbeaten run to four. Dutch midfielder Marcel Seip was brought down by Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Dennehy and Fagan duly stepped up to send Liam O'Brien the wrong way from the spot after 17 minutes. The former Derby striker then lobbed wide before substitute Atkinson doubled the visitors' advantage 20 minutes later. The on-loan Hull winger neatly clipped home his first goal for the club from Reid's left-wing cross. Seip guided a header just wide from another curling Reid delivery shortly after the break before the winger danced his way through the Bees defence for City's third after 58 minutes. Bermuda international Wells then rounded O'Brien to rub salt in the wound with two minutes to go and seal a comfortable victory for Phil Parkinson's troops.
