Maguire's second-half penalty earns draw in Borisov
Chris Maguire's second-half penalty kept Scotland Under 21s on course for a Uefa Championship play-off as Billy Stark's men secured a 1-1 draw against Belarus.
The Aberdeen striker equalised from the spot in the 64th minute after Paul Coutts had been brought down in the box.
Pavel Nekhaychik had netted a 36th minute opener after Coutts had given away a free-kick just outside the box.
But Maguire's equaliser means Scotland will top the group if they beat Austria at Pittodrie on Tuesday night.
Both Scotland and Belarus have 14 points, along with Austria, going into Tuesday's final round of qualifiers, when Belarus take on Azerbaijan.
Only the section winners will definitely secure a spot in next Friday's play-off draw.
