    Tuesday's Premier League preview

Danny Drinkwater will be available for Leicester as they target back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time this season when they travel to Bournemouth on Tuesday.

The midfielder had been suspenseded for three games after clashing with Valon Behrami during a 2-1 loss to Watford last month, but will travel with the squad to the south coast this week.

The Foxes picked up their first victory in five league games on Saturday as they stunned Man City 4-2 at the King Power Stadium and pulled themselves four points clear of the relegation places.

Danny Drinkwater could be charged with violent conduct by the FA for an alleged incident involving Valon Behrami

Their last run of consecutive wins was between March 5 and April 10, victorious in five games on the trot as they surged to the Premier League title.

Bournemouth - who are two points and two places above Leicester - will be looking to bounce back from their 3-2 defeat to Burnley on Saturday, with Howe having mixed feelings over their recent results.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri wants Jamie Vardy to prove he can score away from home as well

"If we're looking for positives, we've won two of the last four, we've scored goals in those games and we look a threat going forward," he told a pre-match press conference.

"The issues for us at the moment are obviously at the other end and making sure we become a little bit more solid. Conceding goals hasn't been a big issue but we've obviously let a few in during the recent games. We're always looking at ourselves."

    Team news

Although Drinkwater is available again, Danny Simpson is now suspended after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season at the weekend.

Kasper Schmeichel could return after over a month out with a broken hand, while Matty James could make the squad again after his first appearance in 19 months at the weekend following a knee injury.

    Burnley 3-2 Bournemouth

There are no new updates from Bournemouth in terms of injuries, with Andrew Surman and Junior Stanislas still on the sidelines with a hamstring and ankle injury respectively.

    Match stats

Bournemouth haven't won any of their last six games in league competition against the Foxes (D2 L4), last beating them in March 1989.

Both games between these sides ended in draws last season, with Jamie Vardy equalising in the 86th minute from the penalty spot in this exact fixture in August 2015.

Kasper Schmeichel is confident Leicester can kick-start their season

The Foxes have won just one point from seven Premier League away matches this season (W0 D1 L7) and only Burnley have picked up as few points in the competition on the road.

If Leicester lose this game, it would set a new record for the lowest points total by a defending top-flight champion in their first eight away games of a season (1).

The Foxes have won just one of their last 10 Premier League games on a Tuesday, 2-0 against Liverpool in February (D4 L5).

    Leicester 4-2 Man City

There have been 16 goals scored in Bournemouth's last three Premier League matches (5.3 per game) - with the Cherries conceding exactly three goals in each of these matches.

After scoring with just two of his 17 shots in the Premier League before last weekend, Jamie Vardy scored a hat-trick with all three of his shots against Manchester City.

Claudio Ranieri will take charge of his 200th Premier League match as a manager in this game (146 for Chelsea, 53 for Leicester City).
