Law and Jones goals earn Bantams vital three points
Second-half goals from Nicky Law and Steve Jones helped Bradford beat 10-man Grimsby 2-0 and end a four-match run without a win.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men when Robert Atkinson was sent off for a foul on Michael Boulding after 20 minutes, but promotion-chasing Bradford struggled to take advantage despite dominating the play.
Grimsby goalkeeper Phil Barnes made superb saves to deny Jones Boulding and Jones, who also hit the post in a one-sided first half.
It was a similar story after the interval, but Law broke the deadlock after 75 minutes with a low right-footed shot.
Jones put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time when he beat Barnes after receiving a pass from substitute Joe Colbeck.
The result lifted Stuart McCall's side up to seventh in the table, while Grimsby remain third from bottom.
