Bradford ended a run of four games without victory with an emphatic 4-0 win over Morecambe. Midfielder Paul McLaren put them in front after 24 minutes, racing into the box to flick the ball past goalkeeper Barry Roche. However, their defence struggled to contain a lively Morecambe side who should have equalised on the stroke of half-time when Danny Carlton stabbed the ball wide. Stuart McCall's Bradford found themselves under pressure at the start of the second half before Michael Boulding raced onto a through-ball from Barry Conlon to score a second after 62 minutes. Nicky Law added a third with a 25-yard shot after 77 minutes before Conlon made it four from the penalty spot four minutes from time after Danny Adams was adjudged to have handled.
