      Peter Thorne netted a brace as Bradford ended their run of nine matches without a win by beating Rotherham.

      Bradford ended their run of nine matches without a win with a comprehensive 3-0 victory at home to Rotherham. But the Bantams' faint hopes of the play-offs were ended when Dagenham won at Notts County. Leading scorer Peter Thorne gave Stuart McCall's side the lead in the 12th minute, diverting Dean Furman's shot into the net - a goal hotly disputed by the visitors who claimed he was offside. Thorne shrugged off their claims to add a second after 32 minutes, sweeping Nicky Law's cross into the net for his 17th of the season. Steve Jones then put the result beyond any doubt on 73 minutes, beating the advancing Andy Warrington after latching onto a through-pass from substitute Joe Colbeck. Warrington also made fine second-half saves to deny Jones before turning a shot from Furman over the crossbar and stopping a shot from Thorne on the line.
