Bradford v AFC Wimbledon preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's FA Cup second-round clash between Bradford and AFC Wimbledon at Valley Parade.

Bradford's preparations for their clash with the Dons have been hit by a sickness bug. Midfielder Kyel Reid is doubtful for the tie, while goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin and winger Jack Compton are among others who have been affected. Manager Phil Parkinson told the club's official website: "A couple more of the players have gone with the sickness bug that has been around the training ground in the past few days. "We have to be careful with things like this. We'll be monitoring everyone closely and we won't be risking anyone who doesn't seem quite right." But on-loan pair Andrew Davies and Ricky Ravenhill are both available and expected to start. Defender Davies, from Stoke, returned from suspension at Gillingham last week, while midfielder Ravenhill has started in both matches since arriving from Notts County 12 days ago. Club skipper Simon Ramsden came through the full 90 minutes at Gillingham unscathed following a groin strain, but fellow defender Robbie Threlfall (thigh) remains sidelined. Callum McNaughton is AFC Wimbledon's only absentee for the trip to the Bantams. The on-loan defender does not have permission to play in the competition from parent club West Ham, but boss Terry Brown has an otherwise fully-fit squad to choose from. Striker Christian Jolley is back after a fortnight out with a hamstring injury while centre-half Jamie Stuart, midfielders Sammy Moore and Ricky Wellard and winger Luke Moore have all shaken off knocks suffered against Burton last weekend. Winger Kieran Djilali has also trained this week after a hamstring injury and even long-term absentee Mat Mitchel-King played 45 minutes for the reserves following a back problem, although the former Crewe defender will not be risked this weekend.
