The central midfielder notched a first-half brace as the West London side continued to push towards the top of the table at the expense of their lowly visitors.
Bean grabbed his first midway through the first half when he headed home completely unmarked eight yards out from a free-kick.
And he sealed the points in stoppage time at the end of the opening period when a Kevin O'Connor corner found him on his own inside the six-yard box.
Charlie MacDonald also hit the post for the home side after a nice run and the classy centre forward went on to force a fine save from Shwan Jalal in the visitors' goal after half-time.
