Cambridge vs Swindon preview

Cambridge strikers George Maris and Alex Jones are out of Friday's League Two clash with Swindon through injury.

Maris is likely to miss the rest of the season with an ankle problem, while Jones damaged a hamstring during last Saturday's 3-0 home defeat by Newport. Midfielder Liam O'Neil is also unlikely to play again this term because of a hip problem, but striker Jabo Ibehre is available after missing the last two games with a virus.

Midfielder Paul Lewis is also in contention after three brief appearances as a substitute as he attempts to build up match fitness.

Swindon boss Richie Wellens is unlikely to make wholesale changes as he attempts to drag the club back into the play-off race. Leading scorer Michael Doughty started his first game since February in last weekend's 2-2 draw at Oldham after two appearances as a substitute and will hope to keep his place.

His inclusion at the expense of Canice Carroll was the only change to the side which drew 0-0 at Newport on April 9. The Robins are unbeaten in six games but have drawn four of those, including the last three, to slip to five points off the play-off pace.
