Carlisle manager John Ward had no complaints after seeing the four-time Johnstone's Paint Trophy finalists beaten 3-0 by League Two Stockport in the northern section quarter-final. Adam Proudlock, Matty McNeil and Anthony Elding grabbed the goals as County upset the League One leaders. "I can't grumble about the result - they put their chances away," said Ward. "It wasn't our night but Stockport deserved to go through. "Once you go a couple of goals behind thinking seems to go astray and suddenly it looks a bit of a shambles. "We wanted to progress in the competition but all credit to Stockport who defended well against us."
