Davis Keillor-Dunn came off the bench to decide a pulsating South Yorkshire derby 2-1 in Barnsley's favour against Doncaster.

Vimal Yoganathan put the Tykes ahead in the first half but Luke Molyneux equalised five minutes later.

It was left to Keillor-Dunn, who missed out on a starting berth for the first time in the league this term, to settle the game with a fine finish on the break.

Billy Sharp drew a save from Murphy Cooper and Jordan Gibson struck a volley off the upright from 20 yards as Doncaster had the better of the early opportunities.

But the visitors took the lead when Reyes Cleary released Yoganathan on the break and the youngster calmly finished into the bottom corner after 33 minutes.

Doncaster levelled in the 38th minute when Sharp showed excellent control before laying the ball off to Molyneux who lashed in from 15 yards.

Barnsley grabbed the winner after 68 minutes. Keillor-Dunn raced onto a fine pass from Patrick Kelly and lashed home.

Doncaster were denied a strong shout for a penalty in the latter stages when Sharp was bundled over by Luca Connell.
