Zander Diamond's goal secured a 1-0 win for Oldham in their final pre-season friendly against Fleetwood Town.
The defender grabbed his first goal in Latics colours with a header from Matty Lund's free-kick after 34 minutes. Matt Smith headed over as the League One side looked for a second after the break. But they had a let-off towards the end when Fleetwood substitute Richard Brodie headed wide from a couple of yards out.
